IMPORTANT - The price of the new Law Society TransAction Forms will be an additional £90 per year which will be incorporated in the current “Annual Licence - Conveyancing Law Society Forms” charge when you are next due for renewal. The renewal price will allow for the deletion of Prop forms 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 which the Law Society has requested us to withdraw from the range by 1st November. Therefore the total price for the new range will increase from £153.77 to £191.11. (For any renewal dates in 2008 this price will be subject to the normal RPI added by the Law Society)

The price increase will automatically be implemented if you continue to use the Conveyancing Law Society range.

The Law Society has reviewed its current range of TransAction forms, PROP1 - PROP8, in the light of the Home Information Pack (No.2) Regulations 2007 which came into force on 1st August.

The Law Society has replaced PROP1, PROP3, PROP4, PROP6, PROP7 and PROP8 with the new forms listed, although these forms will continue to be published until 1st November when they will be withdrawn.

Unless TA1-TA15 have already been completed on behalf of your client, it is a condition of your licence that these new TransAction forms can only be included in a home information pack which the Law Society has approved. Any other use is not permitted. Please click here to see the revised License Agreement.

TA1, TA2, TA3, TA4, TA5, TA14 and TA15 are forms which must be included in a home information pack as “required” documents.

TA6, TA7, TA8, TA9, TA10, TA11, TA12 and TA13 are merely “authorised” documents which can be included in a home information pack but which are not compulsory documents.

The explanatory notes which accompany TA1-TA15 should be read before practitioners complete these forms.

All forms can be used immediately.
