EFIS 76, November 2012 : Conveyancing
You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.
In response to customer requests, Oyez has broadened the scope of CON29(L) to include enquiries which conveyancers may find useful in commercial as well as residential transactions.
This review has culminated in changes to certain enquiries, the deletion of the section dealing with new properties and the insertion of enquiries relating to capital allowances and the addition of a new enquiry concerning Value Added Tax.
Since none of these amendments have been triggered by new legislation, the 2011 edition of CON29(L) can continue to be used but will not be updated in future as any further changes will only be incorporated on the 2012 version of CON29(L).
In addition, the Land Registry has made some minor changes to their forms LRID1 and LRID2.
In particular, the Land Registry has increased the threshold below which LRID1 and LRID2 are not required, clarified the point that a licensed conveyancer must hold a practising certificate and that cheque guarantee cards are no longer acceptable proof of identity.
Finally, a minor amendment has been made to LRDJP and a new form LRCH2_Flexi has been added due to customer demand.
All forms can be used immediately.
